Linda Mabhena- Olagunju is the owner of one of Africa’s largest wind farms, she is also one of the first black women globally to own renewable energy power plants. She has been featured Oprah Winfrey’s Power List as well as on the cover of Forbes Africa. She is considered one of the most influential women in Africa and Her work has been recognised in business and she is the recipient of the 2017 Veuve Clicquot Businesswomen Award as well the prestigious CNBC all Africa Business Leaders Awards.

Over and above her roles in the energy sector Linda is an experienced executive and has served on the boards of the University of Oxford, Swiss Port, Energy For Access, Zayed Future Energy Award and City Power. She is currently serving as an advisor on Gender to the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy for the Republic of South Africa, in addition to this she serves an advisor to Concordia a USA based NGO.

At the age of 27 Linda Mabhena-Olagunju became the owner of one of Africa’s largest wind farms. Globally she is one first black women to own renewable energy power plants. She is a unique African voice on matter of climate change and the just energy transition.
Over and above her roles in the energy sector Linda is an experienced executive she was the youngest member to be appointed to the University of Oxford’s International Advisory Board.
In 2023 she was listed as one of the most influential women in Africa by New African Magazine. She was also listed on Oprah Winfrey’s Power List and has been featured on the cover of Forbes Africa.
She is the recipient of the 2017 Veuve Clicquot Businesswomen Award as well the prestigious CNBC all Africa Business Leaders Awards.
Linda is a seasoned businesswoman and speaker who navigates effortlessly in discussing highly complex subject matters such as climate change, energy security and funding ,to board room strategy, corporate governance and business leadership.
